Waive Cyber Incident
Waive has become aware that a third party has obtained some data from our internal IT environment as part of unauthorised access to our IT environment. We are working to determine exactly what these files contain as a priority. We will contact any affected individuals to provide advice and steps to protect themselves, in line with our obligations. We are working closely with the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) and the Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC) to remedy the situation and confirm additional details. We will continue to keep these agencies updated as our investigation progresses. As a precautionary measure our ASIC connections have been isolated. We take cyber security seriously and are committed to keeping all our staff and stakeholders updated as we work to respond to this incident. We will provide further updates as the response continues We understand this news may cause concern and we want to thank our stakeholders for their ongoing support as we work to resolve this as swiftly as possible.
